A drive and braking force control device which, when target drive and braking force and target yaw moment of a vehicle cannot be obtained within the range of drive and braking force that each wheel can produce, achieves, as far as possible within the range of the drive and braking force that each wheel can produce, drive and braking force or yaw moment required for the vehicle. In the drive and braking force control device, a target drive and braking force Fvn of a vehicle and target yaw moment Mvn of the vehicle required for the vehicle are calculated (S20), and when the target drive and braking force Fvn and the target yaw moment Mvn cannot be achieved by control of drive and braking force of each wheel (S40), it is determined based on the target drive and braking force Fvn and the target yaw moment Mvn that which one of drive and braking force and yaw moment is to be prioritized. Then, when the drive and braking force is to be prioritized, drive and braking force of each wheel is controlled so that the target drive and braking force is achieved as far as possible, and when the yaw moment is to be prioritized, the drive and braking force of each wheel is controlled so that the target yaw moment is achieved as far as possible (S60-220).
