摘要	The present invention relates to compounds having utility as surfactants which are derived from intermediates produced in petroleum biodesulfurization processes. The compounds of the invention include acyloxybiphenylsulfinates, acyloxybiphenylsulfonates, alkyl sulfinatobiphenyl ethers and alkyl sulfonatobiphenyl ethers. The invention also provides methods of producing these compounds.
