The method is performed by an AoD processing device and includes steps of: acquiring (S310), from the AoD server, advertisement configuration information; determining (S320) an advertisement to be inserted based on the advertisement configuration information; receiving (S330), from the AoD server, a notification that a triggering condition for inserting an advertisement is satisfied, the triggering condition being associated with an interaction between the AoD server and a client device to which the AoD service is provided; transmitting (S340) to the AoD server an instruction to cause the AoD server to render a combined picture of the application and the advertisement based on the advertisement configuration information; and receiving (S350), from the AoD server, the combined picture and converting it into a frame in the video stream for transmission to the client device.

The invention allows the decision of when to end and start groups of data for the video and/or audio to be made with reference to the actual video and/or audio content and in particular to be made with reference to a detected or detectable change in the video or audio content such that the end of one group and start of the next group of data can be synchronised to occur at the same time as, or at a time determined with respect to, said change. The invention also discloses the storing of the groups of data as self contained items or records and the storage of the same in one or more databases from which the groups can be selected and transmitted for the generation of video and/or audio content.

摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus and a corresponding method for mapping payload data of mapping input data streams (S1, S2,..., Sn) onto a mapping output data stream (Q) having a channel bandwidth for transmission in a multi- carrier broadcast system. In an embodiment first and second frame forming means are provided, wherein the first frame forming means (14) are adapted for forming first frames (F1) having a first frame structure and wherein the second frame forming means (16) are provided for forming second frames (F2) having a second frame structure. Preferably, in a second frame structure the data blocks of a particular mapping input data stream are spread in time and frequency over various data symbols and various data segments of the second frames to provide a high robustness against disturbances. The payload portion (50) of the second frame is preferably segmented into various data segments enabling the use of a narrow-band receiver, even if both the first and second frames cover the same total channel bandwidth.

摘要： Television white space devices are operable to communicate information over television white space and, more specifically, to quiet a transmitter for sensing signals in the television white space. A method for inconspicuous quieting of the transmitter in a television white space device inserts, from an application layer, information into a transport stream for transmission by the transmitter of the television white space device to produce a null window of time within the transport stream at a predetermined time. The method also transmits the transport stream by the transmitter of the television white space device and quiets the transmitter during the null window of time. The method senses, by a white space sensor of the television white space device, existing signals in the white space during the null window of time.

摘要： The present invention relates to techniques for authentication of data streams. Specifically, the invention relates to the insertion of identifiers into a data stream, such as a Dolby Pulse, AAC or HE AAC bitstream, and the authentication and verification of the data stream based on such identifiers. A method and system for encoding a data stream comprising a plurality of data frames is described. The method comprises the step of generating a cryptographic value of a number N of successive data frames and configuration information, wherein the configuration information comprises information for rendering the data stream. The method then inserts the cryptographic value into the data stream subsequent to the N successive data frames.
