    • A method and a tool (10) for forming a seal in a lock chamber (3) of a sheet pile are proposed. The method comprises the steps of: introducing a seal forming tool (10) into the lock chamber (3); injecting a sealing material into a distribution chamber (50) of the tool (10) from where it axially fills longitudinally extending recesses (38', 38", 38"') in a seal-shaping module (12); and moving the tool (10) longitudinally through the lock chamber (3), whereby the sealing material is shaped by the seal-shaping module (12). The distribution chamber (50) is a closed chamber inside the tool (10) and. spaced from the longitudinally extending recesses (38', 38", 38"'); and the tool (10) comprises moreover at least two distribution channels (52', 52", 52"') connecting in parallel the distribution chamber (50) to the recesses (38', 38", 38"'), the parallel distribution channels (52', 52", 52"') being fine-tuned for apportioning the flow of sealing material between the recesses (38', 38", 38"').

    • The present invention relates to a method for forming a reclaimed land within a seawall and construction equipment thereof. More specifically, dredged soils within an intended place of landfill are embanked to form a reclaimed land so that cost is reduced, environmental problems due to external dredging are resolved, pits formed by dredging within the intended place of landfill can be utilized as all kinds of industrial facilities or parks along the river, and clean rainwater can substitute the service water. To this end, the construction equipment of the reclaimed land of the present invention comprises: a hill portion which is obtained by piling up earth or stone along the intended place of a landfill (20) to prevent fresh water from flowing into the intended place of a landfill (10) of a seawall (1); an excavated portion (50) where a pit is formed by dredging a certain area of the intended place for landfill (10); a bank portion (30) formed into a flat area higher than the altitude of the inner water by filling up the intended place of landfill (10), except for the excavated portion (50), by using soil obtained from the excavated portion (50); and a cut-off wall (40) formed along the excavated portion (50).

    • The present invention includes an interlock having an elongate male plug and elongate female socket. The socket has an open rectangular cross-section with a receiving cavity designed to receive and ensleeve the plug, which also has a rectangular cross-section. The socket includes a back wall, top wall, bottom wall, and discontinuous front wall creating an upper and lower flange with an opening existing between the free ends of the flanges. The bottom, top, and back walls are planar in shape providing three planes on which the socket can mate to a planar portion of a structure, such as a sheet pile. The plug includes a flange-contacting surface with a pile receipt disposed inwardly from the flange-contacting surface. The inwardly set pile receipt allows an end of a plate to be secured to the plug within the outer perimeter of the plug resulting in obstruction free flange-contacting surface.
