摘要： Support garments which comprise circular knit fabrics (20) having relatively high amounts of spandex material as well as sufficient amounts of other fibers (22, 24) to simultaneously provide maximum comfort to a wearer. Such high-spandex content garment fabrics are novel to the industry since the permissible added amount of spandex within such fabrics has been limited due to the power, modulus strength, and elongation of the fibers associated with such fabrics. Although spandex provides desirable properties within certain garments (such as brassieres, girdles, medical braces, athletic supporters, and the like), previous attempts at producing high spandex content fabrics and garments produced constrictive articles which proved too uncomfortable to wear. The inventive fabrics and garments provide such desirable spandex properties while also increasing the comfortability to the wearer. The method of producing such fabrics is also contemplated within this invention.

摘要： Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer wenigstens teilweise als Single-Jersey-Strickware mit einer Lochstruktur ausgebildeten Strickware sowie eine Funktionstextilie, die auf einer wenigstens teilweise als Single-Jersey-Strickware mit einer Lochstruktur ausgebildeten Strickware basiert. Es ist die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Strickverfahren zur Verfügung zu stellen, welches die Herstellung einer Strickware ermöglicht, welche einerseits sehr feine Maschen und andererseits Lochstrukturen mit verhältnismäßig großen Löchern aufweist, sodass diese Strickware beispielsweise die Anforderungen an Textilien im Sportartikel- oder Wäschebereich erfüllt. Ferner soll gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung eine entsprechende Funktionstextilie bereitgestellt werden. Diese Aufgabe wird zum Einen durch ein Verfahren der oben genannten Gattung gelöst, wobei die Strickware auf einer Doppel-Jersey-Strickmaschine mit einem ersten und einem zweiten Nadelträger und einer Maschinenfeinheit von > 24 Nadeln/Zoll hergestellt wird, wobei der erste Nadelträger gegenüber dem zweiten Nadelträger angeordnet ist, der erste Nadelträger eine Nadelanzahl/Zoll von Zungennadeln entsprechend der Maschinenfeinheit und der zweite Nadelträger Transfernadeln aufweist, wobei die Nadelanzahl/Zoll der Transfernadeln wenigstens um Faktor 2 kleiner als die Nadelanzahl/Zoll der Zungennadeln des ersten Nadelträgers ist und wobei mit den Transfernadeln Henkelanhäufungen mit wenigstens einem Fanghenkel pro Loch ausgebildet werden und die Fanghenkel ohne oder mit wenigstens einer Masche anschließend von den Transfernadeln auf die Zungennadeln umgehängt werden. Die Aufgabe wird darüber hinaus durch eine mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren erhältliche Funktionstextilie gelöst.
