Disclsoed is a soap bar composition comprising: a) 25 to 85%, preferably 35 to 75% by weight of C 8 to C 24 fatty acid soap comprising: (i) C10 soap at 8% or 15% or greater, more preferably 16 to 32% by weight of total bar composition; and, (ii) unsaturated C 18 soap, wherein weight ratio of said unsaturated C 18 soap to C 10 (caprate) soap is 1.2 to 0.1. b) 1 to 45 % organic and inorganic adjuvant materials by weight of the composition; and, c) 5 to 30%, preferably 13 to 28% water by weight of the composition, wherein excess of C 10 soap to unsaturated C 18 soap is at least 6%.

摘要： A low TFM extruded personal washing bar comprising a continuous phase, said continuous phase being substantially free of water soluble detergent builder and comprising: a. 20% to 50% fatty acid soap, wherein the fatty acid soap comprises less than 39% of an unsaturated fatty acid soap by weight of the fatty acid soap; b. a structuring system comprising: i. from 10% to 45% by weight of the continuous phase of a polysaccharide structurant selected from the group consisting of starch, cellulose and a combination thereof, ii. from 6% to 30% by weight of continuous phase of a polyol selected from the group consisting of glycerol, sorbitol and their mixtures, and iii. 0 to 15% by weight of continuous phase of a water insoluble particulate material; c. 0.5% to less than 3% of an anticracking agent selected from the group consisting of carboxymethylcellulose, polyacrylate polymers and mixtures thereof; d. from 10% to 20% water; wherein the bar has a Cracking Index of 1 or less; and wherein the continuous phase is an extrudable mass having a penetrometer hardness of 3 to 8 Kg and a yield stress of 350 to 2000 kPa measured at a temperature of 40°C.

摘要： The invention relates to novel bar compositions comprising: (a) 40 to 80% by wt. fatty acid soap, wherein the level of soap exceeds the level of synthetic surfactant, if any; (b) 0 to 30% structurant; (c) 5 to 20% water,- wherein 8 to 60% of the bar comprises a complex formed from the interaction of soluble soap and multivalent ion; wherein the composition comprises less than 2% builder; and wherein the composition is substantially enzyme free. The insoluble complexes permit greater solid contents which counter intuitively, enhance lather (i.e., even if soluble soap is complexed, it is believed more can be used) . Further, the complexes enhance rate of wear, hardness, mildness and deposition. The invention further comprises process for enhancing benefits by adding multivalent ions to soap stock during processing.
