    • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Werkzeugkopf (1) zum Bearbeiten von Kanten (3) eines Werkstückes (4) sowie ein Werkzeugsystem mit einem solchen Werkzeugkopf (1). Der Werkzeugkopf (1) umfasst einen ersten Werkzeugabschnitt (6) mit einem Satz von über den Umfang verteilten ersten Schneiden (7) und einen zweiten Werkzeugabschnitt (8) mit einem Satz von über den Umfang verteilten zweiten Schneiden (9), wobei die zweiten Schneiden (9) in Umfangsrichtung gesehen zwischen den ersten Schneiden (7) positioniert sind. Der zweite Werkzeugabschnitt (8) ist relativ zum ersten Werkzeugabschnitt (6) in Richtung der Längsachse (5) zwischen einer passiven Position und einer aktiven Position hin und her verfahrbar, wobei die zweiten Schneiden (9) in der passiven Position gegenüber den ersten Schneiden (7) axial zurückgezogen sind und in der aktiven Position zwischen den ersten Schneiden (7) hindurch axial hervorstehen. Der Werkzeugkopf (1) weist eine Druckschaltmechanik (10) zum hin und her Verfahren des zweiten Werkzeugabschnittes (8) zwischen der passiven Position und der aktiven Position auf. Im erfindungsgemäßen Werkzeugsystem sind der Werkzeugkopf (1) und ein Betätigungselement relativ zueinander axial verfahrbar, wobei die mindestens eine Betätigungsfläche (11) und das Betätigungselement zum gegenseitigen axialen Andrücken ausgelegt sind.

The apparatus includes a spindle (6) having the stylus (S) fixed at the lower end thereof, spindle holding means (11), (12), (13) for holding the spindle (6) at the upper end in a circularly movable manner within a vertical plane with a predetermined radius e, rockably within the vertical plane and in an elevationally movable manner during the course of elevational movement, a circular motion limiting means (20) for limiting the circular motion of the spindle (6) to within a range of 180o in the elevational direction, spindle lifting and lowering means (30) for biasing the spindle (6) in such a manner that the spindle always moves downward in executing circular motion, model surface detecting means (41) for moving the spindle (6) upwardly while executing circular motion when the stylus (6) makes contact with the model (M) so that the displacement thereof exceeds the set value, a copy command unit (50) for producing a copy command signal for copying in horizontal and vertical directions in response to the rotational position of the circularly rotating arm of the spindle (6), and a copy control unit for varying the copying speed in the horizontal and vertical directions upon receipt of the signal. Another apparatus includes spindle holding means (11), (14), (15) for holding the spindle (6) in circularly movable manner with a prescribed radius ewhile retained in the vertical state instead of the spindle holding means (11), (12), (13) of the former device.

    • The invention relates to a profile control device, in which a cutter is moved behind a tracing head so as to make the device simple in construction and control. A bearing (43) is subjected to rotational control by a submotor (42), and rotation of the bearing (43) causes a leading shaft (44) to vertically (arrow direction D) move in a plane defined by the leading shaft and an auxiliary shaft (41a). When the auxiliary shaft (41a) turns (arrow direction C) through an angle, the leading shaft (44) will turn through the same angle as that angle. The leading shaft (44) has a predetermined length R, and mounts at its other end a tracing head (31) through a bearing (45). With this arrangement, the tracing head (31) turns in parallel to the X-Y plane by driving of the submotor (41) and moves up and down in a plane perpendicular to the X-Y plane by driving of the submotor (42). Accordingly, when the submotors (41), (42) are controlled in accordance with a shape of a model, the tracing head (31) can be always moved a length R ahead of a cutter.
