摘要： A hand attachable animal washing apparatus, attachable upon the hand of a user, is provided enabling singlehanded control of water flow and application of water into the coat of an animal. Control of water flow though a molded body portion is effective by singlehanded operation of a valve assembly disposed interiorly within the molded body portion. A user is enabled to open and close the valve assembly by compressing a compressible portion disposed proximally overlying the user's palm when wearing the apparatus upon one hand. A user may thereby control and apply water applied to an animal with one hand while securing and comforting the animal with the other hand.

The outer layer (3, 15) can then be detached and disposed of to leave the hand covering (2, 14) that can be used to wash and/or dry appropriate areas of the body. The hand covering (2, 14) can then also be disposed of. Preferably, therefore, at least the hand covering is made of a biodegradable material.

摘要： The present invention relates to a polymer latex made by free-radical emulsion polymerization comprising polymer particles containing structural units derived from at least one conjugated diene component, whereby said polymer particles comprise at least one hard phase segment having a glass transition temperature (T g) of at least 50°C and at least one soft phase segment having a glass transition temperature (T g ) of 10°C at most, the total amount of hard phase segments being 2 to 40 wt-% and the total amount of the soft phase segments being 60 to 98 wt-% based on the total weight of the polymer particles, whereby the T g is measured by DSC according to ASTM D3418-03 and said polymer latex having an electrolyte stability determined as critical coagulation concentration of less than 30 mmol/l CaCl 2 (determined for a total solids content of the latex of 0.1% at pH 10) that is particularly suitable for the production of dip-molded articles. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a process for making such a polymer latex, to the use of said polymer latex for the production of dip-molded articles, to a compounded polymer latex composition that is suitable for the production of dip-molded articles, to a method for making dip-molded latex articles, as well as to the latex articles obtained thereby.

摘要： Disclosed is a disposable, semi-enclosed applicator (10) for distributing a substance onto a target surface. The applicator has a first side (24), a second side (26), and an internal cavity (29) between the first and second sides. The applicator further includes at least one opening, such that the internal cavity (29) is externally accessible. In a preferred embodiment, the first side (24) comprises a porous sheet containing at least 50%, by weight, non-absorbent material, the second side (26) comprises sheet an absorbent containing at least 50%, by weight of cellulosic material; and the applicator further comprises a substantially fluid-impervious barrier layer (25) within said internal cavity (29) adjacent the first side (24). In another preferred embodiment, the first side (24) comprises a porous non-absorbent sheet having a basis weight of no greater than about 100 gsm, the second side (26) comprrises an absorbent sheet having a basis weight of no greater than about 140 gsm, and the applicator further comprises a substantially fluid-impervious barrier layer (25) within said internal cavity (29) adjacent said first side (24), wherein the applicator has a Ratio of Absorbency of the second side (26) to the first side (24) of at least about 1.5.
