摘要： A repair device (10) for repairing a sandal of the type comprising a flat sole (12) and a Y-shaped foot strap (14) having two side strap portions (16.1, 16.2) and a toe thong (18) which passes through a hole (20) defined in the sole. The toe thong (18) has a stop formation comprising a flange -defining body which is seated in a recess in the underside of the sole. The stop formation prevents the stop formation from passing through the hole. The repair device (10) comprises a flange formation and a central boss projecting from a side of the flange formation. The repair device (10) replaces the stop formation of the sandal when the stop formation or the sole have become damaged, and is secured to an exposed free end of the toe thong (18) after removal of the damaged stop formation. The central boss defines an internally screw-threaded socket for screwing the repair device onto the free end of the toe thong.
