摘要：【課題】津波の怖ろしさを学習し、被災時の対応についての予備知識を得るために、軽度の疑似津波を体験させることは非常に役立つと思われるが、大きな危険が伴い、精神的や肉体的なショックを受けたり、軽度の疑似津波にも耐えられなくて、転倒したり、骨折したり、最悪の場合溺死してしまう危険性があるため、そのような危険を避け、安全に疑似体験させる必要があった。【解決手段】軽度の疑似津波体験であっても、それを体験し避難の難しさを学ばせようとすると、大規模な装置となり大きな危険が伴うので、精神的、肉体的なショックを受けたり、転倒したり、骨折したりする危険を避けるために、安全に疑似体験させる工夫を行う。特に精神的なショックに対しては、医師もしくは同等の知見を持つ者のチェックを経て、体験する内容（実モデルを使った疑似津波の体験か、ビデオ学習に止めるか、写真学習に限定するか）を決めて、その決定に基づき、的確に運用する。又、被験者の安全を守るために、防護柵を2重以上に設ける。更には、設備上部から提供されるハーネス等の補助器具も避難用に利用できるようにする。

摘要： A raiseable seating system for providing theater seating on an amusement ride is described. The system includes an arm element having a connected end and a free end, a gantry mechanism for raising and lowering the arm element, a rack attached to the free end of the arm element and including at least one row element, at least one seat installed on each at least one row element, and a pulley system for changing a position of the rack. The connected end of the arm element is attached to the gantry mechanism. A person is positionable in each seat of the at least one seat. The raisable seating system is useful for installing aboard cruise ships and other vessels for use in onboard amusement rides and other entertainment features of the ship. The system may further include a screen for displaying video content to persons positioned in the seats.
