    • A method for forming an elongate support structure having a central hollow portion is disclosed including arranging an elongate core member to extend horizontally and then forming a core assembly by locating a first tensioning member at a first end where the first tensioning member including tensioning elements extending from the first end of the core member along the outside of the core member to a second tensioning member located at the second end of the core member. An external mould assembly is attached to the core assembly between the first and second tensioning members to form a combined mould and core assembly and to also form a cavity extending around and along the central core member through which the plurality of tensioning elements extend. The tensioning elements are then tensioned and the combined mould and core assembly is then positioned in an upright orientation and concrete injected into the cavity formed between the elongate core member and the external mould assembly.

    • The invention relates to a process and a device for making a pipe. A fibre fabric or nonwoven (2), e.g. of polymer fibres, is soaked in a curing fluid, e.g. cement glue or plastic, and cured. The fibre fabric or nonwoven (2) is inserted in a mould (1) defining the external dimensions of the pipe to be produced and fitted on a support (5). Starting from a first end of the pipe to be produced, a dense cladding (3) is progressively brought into contact with the inner surface of the fibre fabric or nonwoven (2) corresponding to the inner face of the pipe to be produced, preferably with the application of an overpressure, the curing fluid being inserted into the fibre fabric or nonwoven (2) substantially at the same time as the application of the dense cladding (3). The curing fluid is applied by being distributed over the periphery of the clear cross section of the pipe to be produced in the contact region with the dense cladding (3) at several points, especially via a plurality of nozzles or annular gaps (10). After insertion, the soaked fibre fabric or nonwoven (2) is cured in the mould (1).
