Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Agitation einer Flüssigkeit oder von Schüttgut im Rahmen eines chemischen, biologischen oder physikalischen Prozesses in einer solchen Vorrichtung, wobei die mit Flüssigkeit oder Schüttgut befüllte Trommel um die Zylinderachse rotiert wird. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein System mit mehreren zu einem Verbund zusammengefassten derartigen Vorrichtungen.
