摘要： An overhead storage unit is disclosed. The storage unit has an elongated guide member with a first horizontal segment mountable within an overhead storage area, a second vertical segment mountable below the overhead storage area, and a curved segment extending between the first and second segments. The storage unit also has a storage container with at least a first wall mounted to the guide member and displaceable therealong to be raised and lowered between a stored position and an accessible position. The first wall is disposed within the storage area and has a first orientation to define a bottom surface of the storage container in the stored position. The first wall is disposed below the storage area and has a second orientation different from the first orientation in the accessible position. A residential living unit and method are also disclosed.

Die Schiebe-Schwenkmechanik zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass eine Kopplungsvorrichtung vorhanden ist, die die Laufschiene (23) oder die Ablage derart mit einem der Schwenkarme (12, 13) koppelt, dass die Laufschiene (23) während zumindest eines Abschnitts eines Hochschwenkens und/oder Herunterschwenkens der Ablage gegenüber der Führungsschiene (21) verfahren wird. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Möbel oder Haushaltsgerät mit einer derartigen Schiebe- Schwenkmechanik.

The invention also provides a barbecue having a base which includes a heating chamber, said barbecue also including a lid which is pivotable from an open condition to a closed condition, wherein said lid includes a handle having a portion which cooperates with, and or engages with, a formation on said base, whereby said lid and said base are assisted to remain in alignment. Also provided is a barbecue having a base which includes a heating chamber and control panel at one side of the heating chamber, said barbecue also including a lid which is pivotable from an open condition to a closed condition, wherein said lid includes a forward located outer wall portion to engage said control panel at an upper forward end thereof, and an inner wall portion which engages said control panel at an upper rearward end thereof whereby heated gases and food particles or grease are prevented or restricted, at least in part, from gaining access to said control panel. In addition a barbecue platform is provided for supporting and or securing a barbecue thereto, said platform including a barbecue receiving portion at an upper end of said support, and a ground engaging end at a lower end of said support, wherein between said upper end and said lower end said platform includes at least one storage container pivotally mounted to said platform.
