摘要： The subject of the invention is a process for the operation of electronic devices by universal remote control and for collecting, utilising and transmitting the operating parameters of such devices for the purposes of analysis. The operation of the invention is described below: the administrator downloads the application from an external server to his/her own mobile device (I); - he/she registers on the external server, creates his/her own profile (II); - he/she logs in (III); - the administrator selects the devices he/she wishes to control from a list of controllable devices automatically detected by the application (IV); the application automatically downloads the user interfaces corresponding to the selected devices from the external server to the administrator's mobile device and in doing so, renders the selected devices remotely controllable from his/her mobile device, while at the same time assigning the selected devices to the administrator's profile (V); - the administrator, using the application, defines which pieces of information pertaining to the controlled devices should be sent to the analytical module for storage and analysis, and which should be accessible to third parties via the Internet (VI); from that time on, the administrator uses his/her profile to create subprofiles for other users that grant the authorisations necessary to control the devices he/she designates (VII). A further subject of the invention is a schematic for the operation of the above process.

摘要： An EPG data service for an Intelligent TV includes various of source plugins receiving EPG information from various respective EPG information sources, an EPG subservice aggregating the EPG information received by source plugins, an EPG database storing the aggregated EPG information from the EPG subservice, and an EPG provider providing a relevant portion of the aggregated EPG information to an application of the Intelligent TV. The EPG data service further includes a tag subservice receiving notification from a second application of the Intelligent TV to set or unset tags for programs or channels, storing the tag in a database, and serving the EPG subservice with information regarding tagged programs or channels. The EPG data service further includes a thumbnail cache manager storing thumbnails in a database and serve the thumbnails to the application.
