A server apparatus capable of communicating with an information processing apparatus creates a list of image input apparatuses found through a search by the information processing apparatus, and provides the list to the same. The server apparatus provides script information including information for configuring operation settings of an image input apparatus selected from the provided list, to the information processing apparatus, and transmits a job message to the same, for causing the image input apparatus to operate according to the operation settings, in order to cause the information processing apparatus to transfer the job message to the image input apparatus. Image data input by the operation of the image input apparatus according to the job message is acquired via the information processing apparatus, and is stored in the server apparatus.

摘要： The present invention generally relates to nanoscale wires, including to nanoscale wires used as sensors. In some cases, the nanoscale wires may be used to directly determine analytes, even within relatively complicated environments such as blood, unlike many prior art techniques. In some aspects, the nanoscale wire form at least a portion of the gate of a field-effect transistor, and in certain aspects, different periodically- varying voltages or other electrical signals may be applied to the field-effect transistor. For example, in one set of embodiments, sinusoidally- varying voltages of different frequencies may be applied to the nanoscale wire and the source electrode of the field-effect transistor. The electrical conductance or other properties of the nanoscale wire in response to the periodically- varying voltages may then be determined and used to determine binding of the species.

The index data can include predetermined identification data to identify the document. The invention also includes a related method and system.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for controlling transfer of print data from clients connected in a network to shared printing devices connected in the network. The method comprises the steps of: providing (SI) print data upon reception of a request to send to a printing device connected in the network, forming (S2) header information for the print data based on information provided by a configurable logic means, wherein said header information comprises information related to at least one designated printing device controller (140) identified based on the request to print to a printing device, processing (S3) the print data so as to provide processed print data comprising the formed header information, sending (S4) the processed print data to the at least one designated printing device controller (140), receiving (S5) the processed print data at the designated printing device controller, reading (S6) at the destination printing device controller the header information of the received processed print data and controlling (S7) the processed print data in accordance with the header information. The controlling comprises forming (S8) reconstructed print data from the processed print data at a destination printing device controller based on the header information, and providing (S9) the reconstructed print data to the printing device. The invention also relates to a client controller arrangement, a printer arrangement and a network.

The MFP presents, to the user, copying functions including the registered functions. Upon reception of a copy instruction, the MFP determines whether selected functions include a PC-assisted copying function. If the selected functions include a PC-assisted copying function, the MFP transmits, to the PC, scanned image data and a job ticket containing information representing the selected functions.
