摘要： A transfer cartridge (40) for photosensitive material includes an enclosure (58) with an entry slot (60) in one of its walls, and end caps (66, 70) to seal the opposite ends of the enclosure. A pair of rollers (74, 78) is disposed in aligned, parallel relationship within the enclosure, and a flexible, opaque belt (104) extends between the rollers, preferably in Figure 8-fashion. One roller is rigidly mounted upon an elongated shaft (76), while the second roller is elastically mounted upon a second elongated shaft (80) through the use of a torsion spring (84). Drive gears (90, 96) on the exterior of the cartridge impart rotational movement to the rollers and the nip between the rollers grasps the leading edge of a length of photosensitive material and introduces same into the belt.

The camera may include a rotatable wheel (50) that rotates in order to move the film between a film cassette compartment, a film exposing area and a film spool. In a preferred embodiment, the parking mechanism includes a pin (62) that engages the rotatable wheel after the film has been rewound into the film cassette and the wheel has been rotated sufficient distance to ensurethat the visual exposure indicator moves to the parked position.When the pin engages the rotatable wheel, the pin prevents furtherrotation of the rotatable wheel. This indicates to the camera user that the visual exposure indicator is in the park, position.

摘要： A light-tight cassette (10), and method of making same, for enclosing and dispensing a roll (12) of photosensitive web material (W). The cassette (10) comprises a folded fiberboard (F) housing (14) having a plurality of housing wall portions (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d, 14e, 14f) with oppositely projecting lateral edges (14s) which define opposite sides of the housing (14). The plurality (14a-14f) includes two planar wall portions (14a, 14b) that extend perpendicularly to each other to respective ends (14ae, 14be) thereof which are disposed in spaced alignment to provide an opening (O) between them. Two extruded plastic light-locking members (20, 22) are attached to those wall portion ends (14ae, 14be), respectively, one such member (20) extending across the opening (O) toward the other member (22) to form a web exit passageway (P) therebetween. The one member (20) includes a resiliently flexible, inwardly projecting cantilever portion (20c) that is biased toward an opposing portion (22o) of the other member (22), both such portions (20c, 22o) having light-locking material (m, n) thereon. A pair of molded plastic side caps (30, 32) are attached to the opposite sides of the housing (14), respectively, each cap (30, 32) having an inward-facing hub (30h, 32h) adapted to support a bearing core (Cb) on which the roll (12) of web material (W) is freely rotatable to dispense such material (W) through the web exit passageway (P).
