    • There is provided a pipe joint comprising at least one connection end wherein the or each connection end comprises: a wall defining a receiving recess for receiving an end of a pipe length; a tapered locking recess formed in an internal surface of the wall and containing a correspondingly tapered locking element; a through hole in the wall which communicates with the tapered locking recess; and a fixing element rotatable within the through hole and formed with a foot portion. In a first unlocked rotational position of the fixing element the foot is at least partially retracted from the locking recess; and in a second locked rotational position of the fixing element the foot extends into the locking recess to urge the locking element between the tapered locking recess and a pipe located within the connection end.

    • A filtering device intended to be attached temporarily to an exhaust pipe (30) of a vehicle at occasional indoors driving and the like. The device comprises a filter (14), a filter holder (11) and a connection member (13, 40) for attachment to the exhaust pipe. The object is to provide an exhaust filter which is simple to mount and dismount, which is self-supporting, which can be manufactured so cheap that it can be used as a disposable article, and which gives possibility of choice regarding the connection to different dimensions of exhaust pipes. These objects have been solved by the fact that the filter holder (11) consists of a double-sided open sleeve (15), both ends of which are designed with coupling means (16, 17), for example in the form of a bayonet couplings, for connection of a perforated cover (12) attachable at one end of the sleeve and provided with corresponding coupling means, said cover being intended for inclusion of said filter (14) which is locatable against a seat (22) in the sleeve, and that to the other end of the sleeve (15) there are connectible alternative connection members (13, 40) for attachment to exhaust pipes (30) with different diameters, and which connection member is arranged in the axial extension of the sleeve and designed to support the holder (11).

    • The present invention relates to a quick coupling (1) for smooth terminals. The quick coupling (1) comprises a main body (2) defining a passage conduit (7) for a fluid destined to cross the quick coupling (1) and configured for being coupled to a circuit, a tubular body (3) engaged to the main body (2) and configured for being removably coupled to a smooth terminal (4) and a jaw (16) engaged to the tubular body (3). The jaw (16) is configured for operating between at least a first unhooked position from the terminal (4), in which it does not axially constrain the terminal (4), and a second hooked position to the terminal (4) in which it is locked onto, and axially constrains, the terminal (4) to the tubular body (3). The lever (27) is activatable about a fulcrum (28) borne by the tubular body (3), and operates on the main body (2) for axially displacing the main body (2) with respect to the tubular body (3). The activation of the lever (27) further determines an axial sliding of the jaw (16) with respect to the tubular body (3) and the passage of the jaw (16) from the first unhooked position to the second hooked position.

    • The invention relates to a method for fixing a relatively flexible element (3) in a tube (2) with tight fitting, by arranging around the flexible element a co-displacing member (5)which encloses this element, and forcing the co-displacing member into the tube while co-displacing therewith the flexible element. The co-displacing member can herein be releasably connected to the tube or the flexible element, and the connection can be broken when the co-displacing member is forced into the tube. The invention also relates to an assembly of a tube and a relatively flexible element for receiving therein with tight fitting, for use in such a method, which is provided with a co-displacing member for arranging around the flexible element and enclosing this element. The co-displacing member can be releasably connected to the tube or the flexible element, for instance be formed integrally with the tube, wherein a weakened portion (6) is then formed between the tube and the co-displacing member. The tube can further have a widened end part (4), the inner diameter of which corresponds with the outer diameter of the co-displacing member arranged round the flexible element.
