    • A system to clean a tubular member may include an apparatus to support a tubular member having a bore with a longitudinal axis extending therethrough, and a fluid dispensing system disposed adjacent to an opening of the apparatus, the fluid dispensing system having a nozzle to dispense fluid therefrom. An apparatus may also include a first wiper section and a second wiper section, in which the first wiper section and the second wiper section are movable with respect to each other towards a point of convergence. The first wiper section and the second wiper section may be connected and movable with respect to a base between an open position and a closed position. The system may also include a pipe guide disposed adjacent to an opening of a bore of a pipe handling apparatus, and a wear sensor coupled to the pipe guide.

    • An auger cleaning device (1) is adapted to be mounted, in use, adjacent an auger (2). The cleaning device (1) comprises a cleaning element (11) which is mounted for rotation about an axis substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the auger (2). The cleaning element (11) has a plurality of tines (31, 32) extending generally radially therefrom. Rotation and displacement of the auger (2) causes at least one of the tines (31, 32) to be engaged by the auger (2) and to exert a cleaning action on the auger (2), and also to cause the cleaning element (11) to be rotated.

    • A travelling rolling digger for sequential hole drilling or for producing sequential cultivated spots in soil. The travelling rolling digger includes at least one drilling shaft which is rotatable by a drive mechanism about a longitudinal shaft axis and has a rotating soil penetrating edge. The drilling shaft is mounted to roll about a horizontal shaft in a soil penetrating plane while the horizontal shaft moves in a direction of travel of the traveling rolling digger. The rotating drilling shaft enters the soil at an entry angle and digs into the soil while the horizontal shaft moves in the direction of travel and the drilling shaft continuously changes its angle relative to the soil from the entry angle to a vertical position. The traveling rolling digger further comprising at least one means to remove mud and/or debris accumulates on said digger and or means to prevent or minimize such accumulation.

    • In a method and an arrangement for detecting and localizing e.g. cement deposits internally in drill strings, a sleeve-shaped indicator body (20) is used, the body being dropped down through the drill string while the same occupies an operative position. Then, the indicator body (20) lands either in a seat at the lower end of the drill string, whereby the overlying drill string may be considered free of deposits, or the indicator body (20) becomes stuck within a pipe section (12a) at a higher level in the drill string. Upon the subsequent disassembly of the drill string, one localizes the indicator body (20), the examination taking place in a certain succession where the pipe section which took the lowermost position in the drill string is examined first; thereupon the pipe section which took the lowermost but one position and so forth. When the indicator body (20) has been localized, one can rest assured that the pipe sections which took position above the localized indicator body (20) have no deposits.
