摘要： A line-marking apparatus, comprises a pair of primary wheels 58, 60; a pair of stabilizer wheels 106 each attached to and separately moveable with respect to the apparatus between laterally extended and closed positions; a mask 10 comprising an edge 22, 24 for defining the shape of marking fluid when sprayed on a surface; a threaded shaft 64 by which the mask is adjustably mounted in the apparatus; ducting 72 and battery-powered air impellers 74 mounted at a hub region of the primary wheel to provide an air flow at said shape-defining edge, which air-flow is arranged to direct sprayed marking fluid material from the shape- defining edge and within the marking fluid sprayed on the surface; a holder 41 in which an aerosol canister 108 is movably mountable, spring means 123 operative between the aerosol canister and the holder, the spring means being biased to complement the action of the aerosol outlet valve spring; and an outlet valve opening mechanism 120, 124 acting with mechanical advantage on the aerosol canister in opposition to the spring means. The holder 41 may be set at different heights by a button 52 selectively engageable in one of a series of vertically spaced apertures.

摘要： Marking devices for dispensing a marking substance on the ground and marking methods are provided. The marking devices and marking methods use one or more detection mechanisms to detect one or more characteristics of the marking substance. In some embodiments, the detection mechanism may be, but is not limited to, an optical sensor, an olfactory sensor, a weight sensor, a switch device, and any combination thereof. The one or more detection mechanisms may provide, for example, the capability to: (1) determine the type of marking substance that is installed in the marking device; (2) determine in advance of or during a marking operation the amount of marking substance within the marking dispenser; and (3) determine when the marking dispenser is becoming empty.

摘要： The present invention relates to an extension tube which is divided into an upper extension tube and a lower extension tube so as to be spread or folded. Nevertheless, a rod for transmitting the upper operation of the upper extension tube and a rod for transmitting the lower operation of the lower extension tube allow the operation inputted at an upper portion to be transmitted to a lower portion by magnetic coupling of a first magnetic coupling body and a second magnetic coupling body, thereby enabling easy carrying or storage of a measuring wheel or a wheel for spraying paint. At the same time, if a user inputs a drawing or pushing operation through an upper portion of the extension tube, particularly, an operation input unit such as a lever and the like in a handle, it is possible to control a reset switch of a counter in an operation output unit, to control a nozzle portion of a paint can for spraying a paint or to brake a rotating wheel by the interlocking with the input.
