摘要： Methods and compositions for treatment fluids that include carbonate and bicarbonate to control pH for use in subterranean treatments are provided. In one embodiment, the methods comprise providing a treatment fluid comprising an aqueous base fluid; a crosslinkable polymer; a crosslinking agent; and an amount of carbonate and an amount of bicarbonate, wherein the molar ratio of the amount of carbonate to the amount of bicarbonate is in the range of from about 1 :2.3 to about 1 :2.7; and introducing the treatment fluid into a wellbore penetrating at least a portion of a subterranean formation.

The method may further comprise mixing components comprising the treated additive particles and a base fluid to provide a treatment fluid. The method may further comprise introducing the treatment fluid into a subterranean formation.

The first LVPadF comprises an aqueous base fluid, high-density micro-proppants (HDMPs), and low-density micro-beads (LDMBs), the HDMPs having a specific gravity that is at least about 100% greater than the specific gravity of the LDMBs. Placing at least a portion of the HDMPs and LDMBs into the microfracture to form at least a partial monolayer. Introducing a low-viscosity proppant fluid (LVPropF) into the subterranean formation above the fracture gradient. The LVPropF comprises an aqueous base fluid and medium-sized proppants (MSPs). Placing at least a portion of the MSPs into the dominate fracture.

摘要： Proppants for use in subterranean formations and methods for fracturing a subterranean formation penetrated by a wellbore are provided. The proppant material comprises a particulate body having a hydrophobic surface. The method involves introducing a plurality of the particulate bodies into an aqueous fluid to produce a fracturing fluid. Subsequently, the fracturing fluid is introduced into the wellbore at or above a pressure sufficient to create or enhance at least one fracture in the subterranean formation. The proppant material has an increased buoyance factor within the aqueous fluid than a similar proppant material without the hydrophobic surface.

摘要： A composition and method for hydraulically fracturing an oil or gas well to improve the production rates and ultimate recovery using a porous ceramic proppant infused with a chemical treatment agent is provided. The chemical treatment agent may be a tracer material that provides diagnostic information about the production performance of a hydraulic fracture stimulation by the use of distinguishable both water soluble and hydrocarbon soluble tracers. The tracer can be a biological marker, such as DNA. The porous ceramic proppant can be coated with a polymer which provides for controlled release of the chemical treatment agent into a fracture or well bore area over a period of time.

摘要： Methods for the use of peracid compositions having decreased hydrogen peroxide concentration for various water treatments, including oil- and gas-field operations, and/or other aseptic treatments are disclosed. In numerous aspects, peracetic acid is the preferred peracid and is treated with a peroxide-reducing agent to substantially reduce the hydrogen peroxide content.
