    • A drill quill (2) for insertion in a rigidly mounted milling spindle (12) comprises essentially a drive spindle (4) which can be inserted in a known manner in the milling spindle, a drill spindle (30) rigidly coupled to the drive spindle in the direction of rotation and axially movable with respect to the latter, a housing (22) rotatably mounted on the drive spindle but which can be blocked to prevent rotation with the latter, a feed transmission element (60) which rotates with respect to the drill spindle but is axially stationary with respect to the latter and which is axially movable with respect to the housing but rigidly coupled to the latter in the direction of rotation, and a manually operated feed control element (86) coupled through a gear to the transmission element and mounted in the housing with a transverse physical axis of rotation (84). In order to obtain a feed force which acts coaxially on the drill spindle, the feed transmission element (60) is designed as a sleeve surrounding the drill spindle and is connected in the axial direction at two diametrically opposed positions (102) to chains (98) which are guided by deflection rollers (104) and can be wound on a winding drum (92) mounted in the axis of rotation (84) of the feed control element (86).

    • An orbital drilling tool unit (10) configured to be detachably mounted to a rotatable spindle of a stationary machine tool. The tool unit (10) comprises an outer eccentric body (14) having an eccentric, longitudinally extending cylindrical hole (16), an inner eccentric body (18) rotatably supported in the eccentric hole (16) of the outer eccentric body (14) and having likewise an eccentric, longitudinally extending cylindrical hole (25), a spindle motor (22) for detachably supporting a cutting tool (24) and rotatably supported in the eccentric hole (25) of the inner eccentric body (18). The machine tool end of the outer eccentric body (14) is configured to be concentrically mounted to a tool holder (12) attached to the machine tool spindle for rotating the outer eccentric body (14). A radial offset adjusting means (26, 30) is configured for rotating the inner eccentric body (18) relative to the outer eccentric body (14) for adjusting the radial offset of the spindle motor center axis relative to the center axis of the machine tool spindle, and a means (38) is provided for transferring power to the spindle motor (22) for rotating the cutting tool (24).
