摘要： A customized nipple for a pacifier or baby bottle which is provided with a method for molding an exact non-toxic material replica of the mother's breast, nipple and areola area from a mold so that when the replica is filled with a non-toxic gel-like substance and adhered to a backing, the pacifier so created has the firmness, color, rigidity, and texture of the mother's natural breast, nipple, and areola area. Further, the simple to use mold is sent to a core facility which stores the identifying information with the mold once a first pacifier is created therefrom. Moreover, the mother can re-order or re-make the pacifier as needed over time. The pacifier so provided is a safe and effective pacifying device which promotes good emotional, muscular, and bone structure development for the baby, and at the same time, provides the mother with confidence and independence.

摘要： An improved natural nipple baby feeding apparatus (150) includes detachable liner (182) and outer membranes (152) which both extend substantially across a distance (174) larger than the diameter of a standard baby bottle to which the nipple apparatus may be attached. The membranes have a width approximately double that of the height of the nipple apparatus. The apparatus functions as a training device for an infant by requiring the infant to correctly "latch-on" to the apparatus by grasping the apparatus outwardly of the central nipple area and stretching the outer membrane upwardly so that it contacts the inner membrane which facilitates the flow of fluid from the bottle through both the membranes and out of the nipple. The nipple apparatus may be used in conjunction with, or as an alternative to, breast-feeding of an infant.

摘要： An apparatus including artificial nipple for feeding a baby who has a cleft in its palate region. The artificial nipple includes a palate region to define a region facing the baby's palate during use, and the nipple having a tongue region to define a region facing the baby's tongue during use. The palate region is less compliant than the tongue region to both mimic the hard palate and reduces unwanted movement of the nipple, making it easier for the infant to use his or her tongue to expel fluid from the nipple. The tongue region includes a feeding slit, which maybe U or V shaped, from which liquid maybe discharged without risking nasal congestion. The tongue region may further include a soft protrusion, that assists the peristaltic like tongue movement helping the baby feed, and may extend laterally to reduce the risk of nasal congestion. Additionally, the apparatus may include an interchangeable flow device to be used with the nipple that controls or regulates the flow of liquid to be adjusted for the needs of the child.
