As already mentioned, it contains lactic acid bacteria and the article is intended to be carried in contact with the user's skin in the perineum area, wherein lactic acid bacteria are arranged to be transferred to the user's skin and, when applicable, to the mucus membrane in the perineum area, to form a microbiological barrier that impairs the conditions for spreading and establishment of undesirable stains of microorganisms in said perineum area.
