摘要： Described are methods and devices (100) for measuring a sweat property of skin (12) in response to at least one test material or component (172, 174, 176, 178). Embodiments of the device include a plurality of different sweat stimulation sites. The Sweat stimulation sites may include one or more sweat stimulant reservoirs (142, 144, 146, 148) configured to deliver a sweat stimulant to the surface of the skin (12). Embodiments may also include at least one electrode (150, 152, 154, 156, 158) for measuring a sweat property or to iontophoretically deliver the sweat stimulant from the reservoir (142, 144, 146, 148). In embodiments, the sweat stimulant is selected from acetylcholine, carbachol, methacholine, bethanechol, muscarine, pilocarpine, oxotremorine, and combinations thereof.

摘要： Disclosed herein are systems comprising sensor devices that may be affixed to a patient and used to perform clinical measurements such as measurements for calculating a BASMI score. A first sensor device is configured to be successively attached to each of a wrist carrier, an ankle carrier, and a headset carrier. The carriers are attached to, or positioned next to, the relevant portion of the patient's body in order to perform particular measurements relating to generating a BASMI score. As the patient performs the routine of motions associated with a particular BASMI measurement, the sensor device records the measurements and communicates the measurements to a user computing device. A second sensor device is configured to be applied to the patient's torso and an additional measurement of patient flexibility taken and communicated to the user computing device. The user computing device generates a BASMI score from the recorded measurements.

摘要： The invention provides a system for monitoring an individual, the system including: a wearable sensor for measuring at least one physical parameter associated with the individual; a processor that compares the parameters measured by the sensor to a stored baseline, and if either the measured parameter either deviates from a particular baseline or matches a particular baseline, triggers at least one cognitive test for the individual to perform and compares the results of said cognitive test to a further predetermined baseline. The system also provides a user interface for presenting cognitive tests to the individual and recording the individual's responses. The device includes an input component configured to receive inputs from a user, e.g., finger presses, swipes, motions of the sensing platform, or gestures. Received inputs could include calibration data, for example, known values of a sensed property to compare with corresponding values obtained by a sensor of the device. The device can additionally include an output component configured to provide outputs to a user. Outputs could include indications of sensor readings, medical alerts, or operational states of the device.
