In some embodiments, a mask ventilation system can comprise an expandable base layer comprising side edges and a ventilation layer external to the expandable base layer comprising side edges. When the expandable base layer is in an expanded state, the side edges of the ventilation layer and the side edges of the expandable base layer can define one or more ventilation gaps between the expandable base layer and the ventilation layer for diverting at least a portion of the wearer's breath away from the surface, wherein the diversion can decrease the relative humidity on the surface.

摘要： Device on the head for taking advantage of heat produced by the body to be used as protection against cold and wind in order to avoid frostbites in the face. At strong cold or cold in combination with wind the cooling of the skin becomes so severe that danger of frostbite easily arises. This invention, designed as a hood to be easily put on, with one top part (1) and one lower part (2) only attached to each over the noose root of the wearer, is developed to take care of the heat generated by the body by accumulating the generated heat in a layer of fabric in close contact with the skin of the face. This is achieved by securing the textile material, which is elastic in all directions, to the wearers head and shape of face with the use of one, in ducts (4) in the fabric, going elastic line (7). he device is intended to be utilised at sports practise and as protective outfit at work outdoors at severe cold. The device allows a large freedom of movement for the wearer and involves no limitations to the field of vision for the wearer at the same time as it is flexible and easy to apply if required.

摘要： A collapsible respirator configured as a face mask (11). The face mask (11) comprises a mask portion (15) and a band (17) connected to the mask portion (15) for positioning it around the head of the user. The mask portion (15) comprises a mask body (21) and a nose bridge (23). In an assembled condition, the mask body (21) defines a nose cup (26) having a peripheral edge (27) adapted to contact the face of a user (13) around the nose and mouth. The mask body (21) can be caused to assume a folded condition by first folding lower panel (39) about the fold line (43) into a position in which it is in face-to-face contact with upper panel (37). The two panels (37, 39) are then folded in unison about respective fold lines (53, 57) so that the mask body (21) assumes a generally triangular collapsed condition. The nose bridge (23) is rigid but has some flexibility to allow adjustment of the shape of the nose cup (26) to fit the nose profile of the user (13).
