    • A milking device for laboratory animals, capable of milking from laboratory animals (e.g. rats) by a single experimenter and providing unprejudiced milking data independent of individual experimenters. A teat cup capable of directly milking from teats of small, fertile laboratory animals such as rats and mice. These devices are very effective in evidencing the effects of extrinsic harmful substances on living bodies by means of milk. The milking device comprises a milk collecting container (10) capable of shutting off the inside thereof from the outside, and two, first and second, tubes (12, 13) inserted into the container in a mutually communicating condition, wherein a teat cup (20) is fitted to the other end of the first tube (12), and pressure switching means such as solenoid valves (33A, 33B) capable of switching between a condition in which the inside of the second tube (13) is connected to a negative pressure generating source (35) and a condition in which it is exposed to the atmosphere is provided to the other end of the second tube.

    • The invention relates to a milk collecting-distributing mechanism for animals (cows, sheep, goats, etc.) designed to collect milk from a milking operation in a closed container. Said mechanism consists of a body (32) and a collecting-distributing funnel (29). The body (32) can be fixed to a previously installed container or support (11).     • In a milking cluster of teat cups, each teat cup (1) has a port in the form of a nozzle (13) disposed in the head portion (6) of the flexible liner (3) of the teat cup. The milking cluster includes a distributor (111) having a fluid inlet (114) aid outlets (115) connected to the nozzles (13) of the cups.
