摘要： The present invention relates to artwork preservation, and more particularly to an artwork preservation system that utilizes vacuum and is particularly suited to framed artwork. The artwork preservation system includes: a pair of corrugated planar members (12, 20) constructed and arranged to overlap a front side and back side of an artwork (100); at least one securing element (25), such as hook and loop fastener, for mating the first and second corrugated boards when the artwork is placed there between; at least two feet members (40) constructed from an impact absorbing material and arranged to cooperate the corner portions (41) of the artwork; and a sealable bag (60) for accomodating under vacuum said pair of planar members with the artwork placed in between. The system may further include a vacuum pump for removing air from the sealable bag.
