    • A truck, comprising a rear axle, comprising a motor housing extending laterally between rear wheels of the truck, and an electric motor and power transmission coaxially aligned in said motor housing and arranged for driving the rear wheels; and a suspension system, for suspending the rear axle to a chassis of the truck, said suspension system at least comprising a pair of springs and shock absorbers, and an anti-roll stabilizer and a guiding rod linkage for allowing movement in a vertical direction relative to the chassis; wherein the motor housing is limited by a minimum vertical ground clearance between the road surface and a bottom surface of the motor housing; wherein the motor housing comprises a reinforced central top section providing a guiding rod mount for pivotally mounting the guiding rod linkage to the rear axle; wherein the motor housing further comprises suspension yokes integrated into the housing and extending on either side of the motor housing near both axial ends, said suspension yokes providing spring mounts and shock absorber mounts for mounting said opposed pair of springs and shock absorbers, wherein the motor housing comprises a rear section outer surface provided with connectors, to provide input ports to the electric motor and wherein said connectors are provided in an orientation to guide one or more high voltage power cables adjacent the rear section outer surface in a vertical upward direction.

    • A driver's cabin (1) comprises a cabin frame (2) and a dashboard (8) comprising a recess (7) for a steering wheel assembly (3). The steering wheel assembly comprises a movable steering wheel column assembly (5) and a stationary guide plate assembly (6). The movable steering wheel column assembly comprises a steering axle (13) for a steering wheel (4) and a steering axle housing (14) enclosing the steering axle (13) defining a longitudinal steering axle axis (13A), and a first and a second movable guide plate (15). The steering axle housing is positioned between the first and the second movable guide plate and is fixedly attached thereto. The stationary guide plate assembly comprises a first and a second stationary guide flange (17,18) each being fixedly and stationary attached to the cabin frame (2). The movable steering wheel column assembly (5) is positioned between the first and the second stationary guide flange (17, 18). The first and the second movable guide plate (15) and the first and the second stationary guide flange (17, 18) comprise cooperating means for adjustment of the inclination and the position in the longitudinal steering axle axis direction (13A) of the movable steering wheel column assembly (5). The movable steering wheel column assembly comprises a movable steering wheel column cover (9) enclosing the first and the second movable guide plate (15) and the steering axle housing (14) and is fixedly attached to the first and the second movable guide plate (15). The movable steering wheel column cover (9) is positioned between the first and the second stationary guide flange (17, 18).
