摘要： Plant for setting on and setting off a pump driven by an electric motor by means of an electric switch mounted in a float which controls the setting on or setting off of the pump as a function of the water level by means of a spherical control weight. Said weight is mounted in the float and by following the motion of the latter effects reciprocating motions along a predetermined path thereby actuating the switch. The path of the weight describes a revolution surface of which the generatrix comprises rectilinear or almost rectilinear end portions which form between themselves an angle of more than 180o. The control element of the switch is arranged at the vicinity of the rotation surface portion which has the smallest diameter. The revolution surface may be replaced by a pipe having a polygonal cross-section.
