    • A valve for use in controlling the flow of liquid out of a container, the valve comprising a valve body (14) having an inlet (15) and an outlet (16) for liquid, a valve seat (17) and a valve member (18) movable onto the valve seat (17) to close the valve, the valve also having a secondary seal in the form of a barrier member (25) positioned to prevent any leakage of liquid from the valve outlet. Such a valve is particularly effective for use with a container such an ISO container, which is going to be transported over a long distance, for example by sea. The secondary seal prevents any leakage over a long period of time, thus reducing problems associated with aggressive liquids, for example corrosive liquids.

    • The invention provides fluid delivery apparatus comprising a mobile storage container (10) having at least two compartments, for use in transporting at least two fluids from main storage tanks to subsidiary storage tanks (17, 18, 19), at other locations, the apparatus having means (23, 24) defining at least two fluid flow paths, for connection to at least two different fluid flow ports (20, 21 and 22), the apparatus including electronic means (25) to identify umiquely the fluid flow paths and the fluid flow ports, to reduce the risk that a fluid flow path will be put into communication with an incompatible fluid flow port.

    • A fill cover assembly for a liquid fuel storage tank of a road tanker, the assembly comprising: a seat member having a frame, the frame defining a fill aperture, the frame being configured to be fixedly coupled to a base plate of a liquid storage tank, the base plate having a plate aperture formed therein, thereby to form a fluid-tight seal between the seat member and the base plate around said plate aperture; and a fill-cover coupled to the tank and arranged to be moveable with respect to the frame between a closed condition in which a fluid-tight seal is formed between the fill-cover and the frame and an open condition in which fluid may be passed through said fill aperture to fill said storage tank, wherein the assembly is further arranged to allow venting of pressurised fluid from the liquid storage tank in the event that a pressure of the fluid exceeds a prescribed value.
