    • A hydraulic system (46) for controlling the position of a movable jaw of a jaw crusher comprises a hydraulic cylinder (28) having a piston (34) comprising a piston rod (36) for positioning the movable jaw (2). The hydraulic cylinder (28) comprises a bore side space (42) for containing a hydraulic fluid taking up crushing forces exerted by the movable jaw on the piston rod (36), and an annular side space (44) containing a hydraulic fluid pressing the piston (34) against hydraulic fluid of the bore side space (42). The hydraulic system (46) further comprises an annular side space accumulator (74) which comprises a fluid compartment (80), which is in fluid contact with the annular side space (44), and a gas compartment (76) containing a pressurized gas applying a pressure on the hydraulic fluid in the annular side space (44).

    • A crushing apparatus (1) has a gyratory crusher (2), which has an inner shell (6), an outer shell (14) and an eccentric (16). A lubricating system (22) is arranged to conduct a lubricant to at least one movable part, such as said eccentric (16), of the gyratory crusher (2). The lubricating system (22) has an oil sump (24), which collects the lubricant after it has been used for lubrication of the movable part (16), and a valve mechanism (34), which is arranged to apportion a lubricant flow in the crusher (2). The valve mechanism (34) is arranged to assume a first position, in which a first sub-volume of the lubricant flow is conducted directly to the movable part (16) for lubrication of the same and a second sub-volume is conducted directly to the oil sump (24), the second sub-volume constituting 30-100% of the lubricant flow, and a second position, in which at least 90% of the lubricant flow is conducted to the movable part (16) for lubrication of the same.

    • A crusher system (1) comprises a first crushing surface (6) and a second crushing surface (14), the two crushing surfaces (6, 14) being operative for crushing material between them. The crusher system (1) further comprises a hydraulic system (16) which is operative for adjusting a gap (12) between the first crushing surface (6) and the second crushing surface (14) by adjusting the position of the first crushing surface (6) by means of an hydraulic cylinder (10) connected to said first crushing surface (6). The accumulator (26) has a preloading pressure, which is at least 0.3 MPa lower than the mean operating pressure of the hydraulic cylinder (10).
