    • The present invention provides a device for generating oxidative water vapour and a method thereof. The device (10) for generating oxidative water vapour of the present invention may comprise: a generating unit (12) for generating water vapour containing oxygen (14); and a photocatalytic unit (16), comprising: a light source (18) and a photocatalyst (22), the light source (18) irradiating the water vapour containing oxygen (14) from the generating unit (2) and the photocatalyst (22) contacted with the water vapour containing oxygen 14, so as to generate water vapour with oxidative radicals (23). By means of the device and method (10) for generating oxidative water vapour of the present invention, the lifetime of the oxidative radicals generated in gas phase can reach 1-3 seconds. Thus, the lifetime of the oxidative radicals in the water vapour is prolonged, and the sterilization, disinfection and cleaning efficiency in subsequent use is improved.

    • The present invention provides an apparatus (10a) for preparing water with adjusted pH and a method thereof. The apparatus (10a) may comprise: a first electrolytic chamber (2); a second electrolytic chamber (4); an ion-exchange resin (6a) in fluid communication with the first (2) and second (4) electrolytic chamber; wherein the first electrolytic chamber (2) is adapted to electrolyze feed water to obtain first electrolyzed water, the ion-exchange resin (6a) is adapted to exchange ions with the first electrolyzed water to obtain ion- exchanged water, and the second electrolytic chamber (4) is adapted to further electrolyze the ion-exchanged water to obtain second electrolyzed water with the adjusted pH. By means of the apparatus and the method of the present invention, e.g., in the case of selecting a weak base ion-exchange resin, the first electrolyzed water obtained in the first electrolytic chamber is acidic water, then the acidic water performs ion exchange with the weak base ion-exchange resin so as to obtain ion-exchanged water. In this way, the effectiveness of the weak base ion-exchange resin can be maximized, the preparation cost can be reduced, and it is benefit for environment protection.
