摘要： A contaminant separation device 20 for reducing flow of contaminants to the air duct(s) 22 of a vehicle engine air induction system 12 is described. The device 20 is adapted for fitting behind a grille 32 disposed along the front end of the vehicle 10 and in front of the air duct(s) 22. The device 20 includes planar lower surface 35 comprising guidance means 40, 42 for inducing a laminar flow beneath the device 20 of contaminated air entering through the grille 32 to by-pass the air duct(s) 22, and an inlet 44 to permit air from the laminar flow beneath the device 20 to reach the air duct(s) 22 of the induction system 12. An air induction system 12 and a vehicle 10 are also described.
