摘要： Provided herein are films comprising a core layer sandwiched between an outer layer and a sealing layer. The film has a seal initiation temperature at 5 N/15 mm between about 82°C and about 88°C, a 1% secant modulus m MD between about 300 MPa and about 400 MPa, and plateau seal strength at between about 16 and about 17 N/15 mm. While the outer layer and core layers comprise polyethylene compositions, the sealing layer comprises a polyethylene blend. The polyethylene blend comprises a plastomer and a polyethylene composition in an amount equal to or less than 50 wt%.

摘要： A film comprising a polymer composition comprising from 5 wt% to 95 wt% of a first polyethylene polymer and from 95 wt% to 5 wt% of a second polyethylene polymer, wherein (1) the first polyethylene polymer comprises from 70 wt% to 100 wt% ethylene derived units and having a density of from 0.910 g/cc to 0.940 g/cc and a branching index g'vis of (0.98) or more, a melt index ratio (121.6/12.16) of from (25) to (32), and (2) the second polyethylene polymer comprises from 80 wt % to 99 wt% of ethylene derived units and having a density of from 0.905 g/cc to 0.945 g/cc, a branching index g'vis of less than (0.98), and a melt index ratio (121.6 /I2.16) of from (25) to (80). Also method for improving 45° gloss of a film having a thickness of (25) μιη or more, wherein the film comprises this composition.

The composition comprises: (a) Component A having (i) at least 50 wt% ethylene moieties; and (ii) up to 50 wt% of a C 3 to C 20 comonomer moities, a density of about 0.860 to about 0.965 g/cm 3 , a melt index of about 0.1 to about 10.0 g/10min and a branching index of about 0.96 to about 1.0; and (b) Component B having: (i) at least 65 wt% ethylene moieties; and (ii) up to 35 wt% of a C 3 to C 20 comonomer moities, the wt%s based upon total the total weight of Component B, a density of about 0.905 to about 0.945 g/cm 3 , a melt index (MI) of about 0.1 to about 10.0 g/10 min, and a branching index (g') of about 0.7 to about 0.95. Films made using the polymer composition exhibit excellent toughness and processability.
