摘要： Methods of treatment of conditions which require phytosterol therapy without adversely affecting the bioavailability of lipophilic vitamins or lipophilic drugs, consisting of administering a mixture of phytosterol ester(s) (PS-E) and 1,3-diglyceride(s) (DAG) dissolved in an edible oil or fat are described herein, together with a method of improving weight management and a method of treating metabolic conditions that result in overweight. Dietary nutrients and food supplements containing said mixture are also described herein.

摘要： Disclosed is a lipid preparation comprising a glycerophospholipid or salt, conjugate and derivatives thereof, particularly phosphatidylserine (PS), phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), phosphatidyl-inositol (PI), phosphatidylglycerol (PG) and phosphatidic acid (PA), and poly-unsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) acyl groups, particularly long-chain poly-unsaturated fatty acid (LC-PUFA) acyl groups such as omega-3 and/or omega-6 acyl groups, wherein said PUFA is covalently bound to said glycerophospholipid. The disclosed preparations possess an improved bioactivity, and are useful in the treatment of various cognitive and mental conditions and disorders and for maintenance of normal functions of brain-related systems and processes, for example ADHD.

摘要： The present invention relates to a novel lipase having enhanced selectivity towards the sn -2 position of glycerides and to one-step catalytic reactions using same. The one step catalytic reaction are directed to the synthesis and/or hydrolysis of glycerides and derivatives thereof at the sn -2 position. The present invention further relates to methods of screening for lipases with significantly enhanced regio-selectivity, in particular, sn -2 selectivity.

摘要： A composition comprising at least one diacylglycerol and at least one phytosterol and/or phytostanol ester dissolved or dispersed in an edible oil and/or edible fat, and further optionally comprising monoglycerides.Phytosterol esters may be beta-sitosterol, campesterol, stigmasterol and brassicasterol esters. Phytostanol esters may be stigmasterol, campestanol and sitostanol. The phytosterol and/or phytostanol esters are preferably esters of C14-C22, preferably C16-C18 saturated or unsaturated fatty acids, particularly oleic, linoleic, linolenic, palmitic and stearic acids. The diacylglycerol(s) are preferably 1,3-di-fatty acyl glycerol(s).The invention also provides a process for preparing compositions enriched with triacylglycerol(s) and phytosterol and/or phytostanol esters of mainly unsaturated fatty acid(s) or of mainly saturated fatty acid(s).The invention also relates to dietary food supplements and alimentary products comprising the composition of the invention.
