The digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) receiving portable apparatus for human body communication includes: a DMB receiver adapted to perform DMB Rx signal processing on a DMB signal to convert the DMB signal into an audio/video signal, and transmit to a transmission electrode an intermediate frequency (IF) band broadcast signal or a transmission stream (TS) generated in the DMB Rx signal processing; and the transmission electrode adapted to apply the IF band broadcast signal or the TS to the human body as a DMB signal for human body communication.

摘要： Provided are a system and method for human body communication using a limited passband. The system includes a transmission frame generating unit for human body communication which generates a transmission frame for human body communication based on data information including user identification (ID) and data scrambled into an orthogonal code generated by the user ID; a symbol mapping unit for symbolizing the generated transmission frame for human body communication according to a predetermined modulating method; a spreading unit for spreading the symbol outputted in the symbol mapping unit; a waveform generating unit for generating a baseband signal whose band is limited to a predetermined range with respect to the data spread in the spreading unit; and a middle band transmitting unit for modulating the baseband signal into a predetermined limited passband signal.

摘要： Provided is a communication apparatus having a human body contact sensing function and a method thereof. The communication apparatus includes: an electrode that comes in contact with the human body; a contact sensor that is connected to the electrode, and instructs the central processing unit to perform an initial operation if contact with the human body is sensed; and a data processing unit that receives a control signal from the central processing unit so as to select whether to transmit or receive data, and performs a transmitting or receiving operation according to the control signal. Accordingly, in order to reduce power consumption when in a stand-by state before human body contact is made in a communication apparatus using a human body as a communication medium, a human body contact sensor is included so as to minimize power consumption of a micro processing unit and a transmitter/receiver circuit until contact occurs. Therefore, since power consumption is minimized when in a stand-by mode by using a contact sensor having significantly low power consumption, there is an advantage in that a stand-by time of a portable device is extended.

When the method, apparatus and the system are used, a user can receive a desired service by simply touching two devices.

摘要： The present invention provides a communication apparatus being in directly contact with a human body and using the human body as a transmission channel for data communication. The communication apparatus attached to the human body transmits a signal in the form of a current, receives a signal transmitted from another communication apparatus attached to the human body therethrough, and eliminates noise included in the received signal.
