摘要： A polymeric capsule shell of high quality is prepared from an aqueous composition which comprises (A) at least one esterified cellulose ether comprising aliphatic monovalent acyl groups and groups of the formula - C(O) - R - COOH, R being a divalent aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group, wherein at least a part of the groups - C(O) - R - COOH are neutralized with an ammonium salt of carbonic acid, formic acid or acetic acid, and (B) from 0 to 7 weight percent of a non-polymeric plasticizer, based on the weight of the esterified cellulose ether, wherein the weight of said at least one esterified cellulose ether is at least 80 percent of the total polymer weight in the aqueous composition.

摘要： Cellulose ethers, wherein at least a part of the hydroxyl groups of the cellulose backbone are substituted by methoxy groups and hydroxyalkoxy groups, and optionally alkoxy groups being different from methoxy groups, having an unconventional distribution of methoxy substituents at the 2-, 3- and 6-positions of the anhydroglucose units are described. Such cellulose ethers exhibit significantly higher thermoreversible gel strengths than any known hydroxyalkyl methyl celluloses of comparable viscosity and kind and level of substitution rendering them useful as additives for building compositions such as cement based tile adhesives. In particular, such cellulose ethers can be used to improve the attainable adhesion strength after heat storage conditioning and the temporal setting characteristics of a building composition.

In the hydroxyalkyl methylcellulose hydroxyalkoxyl groups are classified into a fraction (A) and a fraction (B), wherein fraction (A) represents the sum of all molar fractions of substituted hydroxyalkoxyl groups having hydroxyl groups substituted further with methoxyl groups and fraction (B) represents the sum of all molar fractions of unsubstituted hydroxyalkoxyl groups having hydroxyl groups not substituted further with methoxyl groups and wherein the ratio fraction (A)/fraction (B) is at least 0.30. The liquid composition is useful for preparing a solid dispersion comprising at least one active ingredient in at least one hydroxypropyl methylcellulose by spray-drying.
