摘要： A stump planing device (10) comprises a rotatable support shaft (16), and at least two cutting arms (24) extending from the support shaft (16). Each said cutting arm (24) includes a cutter (48) on a cutting-arm body (30) of the cutting arm (24), and an arcuate centring-guide arm (34) at or adjacent to a distal end of the cutting-arm body (30). Each arcuate centring-guide arm (34) defines a constant outer radius along its longitudinal extent and is spaced from a neighbouring arcuate centring-guide arm (34), so as to provide a gap (46) for the passage of cut material. A stump planing system, and earth drill device, a hydraulic machine, and two methods all utilising such a stump planing device (10) are also provided.

摘要： An auger cradle device (104) comprises a cradle element (116) for bearing against a ground auger (96) and/or a rotational drive unit (94), a cradle connector (118) for pivotably connecting the cradle element (116) to or adjacent to an auger mounting (10) of the auger hitch device (30), and releasable locking means (102) for locking the cradle element (116) to prevent pivotable movement relative to the auger mounting (92) and, when released, for enabling pivotable movement of the cradle element (116) relative to the auger mounting (92). The cradle element (116) can therefore selectively brace the auger (96) and/or rotational drive unit (94) to prevent or limit uncontrolled movement. There is also an adjustable auger hitch device (30), preferably for the cradle device (104), for releasably connecting a ground auger (96) and/or a rotational drive unit (94) to an auger mounting (10).
