摘要： The invention discloses an extract of Amaranth, having enriched nitrate content, L-arginine, Flavonoids, saponins, alkaloids, carbohydrates, proteins, potassium, and with negligible amount of oxalic acid or oxalate content. The extract of Amaranth can be prepared from fresh or dried leaves and stem of Amaranth. It can be administered into different dosage viz. fast melt tablet, lozenge, candy, chewing gum, beverage, tablet, capsule, pill, and powder to patients. The said enriched extract of Amaranth has the capability to enhance nitric oxide concentration, nitrate level concentration, and nitrite level in blood as well as in saliva. Hence by administering it can lower blood pressure, increase physical endurance, increase swimming endurance, increase running endurance, and improve sexual performance among human beings.

摘要： The invention relates to an enteric release system for releasing glucosinolate in the colon to increase bioavailability of allyl-isothiocyanate in the body of human subject. It comprises of a) a solid core made of glucosinolate obtained from the extract prepared from prepared from mustard seed, mustard cake or mustard bran or a combination thereof and b) an enteric protective coating over said core. The glucosinolate derived from mustard extract contains 20% to 90% sinigrin which is proved to have anticancer activity. The delivery systems used here includes excipients. It is dispensed in the form of hard gel capsule, soft gel capsule, tablet, beadlets, mini tablet, granule, powder and pills and the dosage ranges from 200 mg to about 2000 mg to a human subject. The enteric coating targets the sinigrin for release in large intestine where sinigrin is converted to AITC and increases its bioactivity.

摘要： The present invention discloses a Diacylglycerol (DAG) composition derived from the fruits of Emblica officinalis . DAG is a form of Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and, in the composition the DAG form of ALA and Triacylglycerol (TAG) form of ALA is in the range ratio of 4:1 to 15:1. The DAG has been enriched in the Emblica officinalis fruit extract to achieve such ratio. DAG derived from the fruit of Emblica officinalis has been identified to have medicinal property and is used to make medicinal composition that can be used for the treatment of dyslipidaemia, especially for the reduction of visceral fat and also modulating Thyroid Stimulating Hormones (TSH). The DAG form of ALA is combined with polyphenols, oil and other plant extracts to obtain the medicinal composition. The composition is also formed into different medicinal forms for oral administration purpose. The method of enriching DAG and preparation of a DAG composition is also disclosed.

摘要： The present invention relates to an enteric coated Costus composition with anti-diabetic activity which is enriched with triterpenoids and is made into a dosage form for the treatment of Type-1 and Type-2 diabetes. The Costus Composition is derived from Costus extract derived from Costus plant part. A process of solvent extraction and purification of said extract is also provided. A method for targeted delivery of Costus composition into intestine is provided. A dosage form is provided for the Costus composition. The enrichment with triterpenoids is up to 95% of the composition. Costus composition can lose its activity in acidic condition of the stomach. Hence by giving enteric coating to Costus Composition, it can withstand the acidic condition of the stomach thereby enhancing the bioavailability and bioactivity of the composition.
