摘要： Graphene- and/or carbon nanotube-based radiation-hard transistor devices and techniques for the fabrication thereof are provided. In one aspect, a method of fabricating a radiation-hard transistor is provided. The method includes the following steps. A radiation-hard substrate is provided. A carbon-based material is formed on the substrate wherein a portion of the carbon-based material serves as a channel region of the transistor and other portions of the carbon-based material serve as source and drain regions of the transistor. Contacts are formed to the portions of the carbon-based material that serve as the source and drain regions of the transistor. A gate dielectric is deposited over the portion of the carbon-based material that serves as the channel region of the transistor. A top-gate contact is formed on the gate dielectric.

摘要： Extractive distillation processes whereby water-soluble extractive distillation (ED) solvents are regenerated and recovered employ improved operations of the extractive distillation column (EDC) so that polar hydrocarbons are recovered and purified from mixtures containing polar and less polar hydrocarbons and measurable amounts of hydrocarbons that are heavier than intended feedstock and/or polymers that are generated in the ED process. The improved process can effectively remove and recover the heavy hydrocarbons and/or remove polymer contaminants from the solvent in a closed solvent circulating loop through mild operating conditions with no additional process energy being expended. With the improved process, the overhead reflux of the EDC may be eliminated to further reduce energy consumption and to enhance the loading and performance within the upper portion of the EDC, especially when two liquid phases exists therein.

摘要： Novel compounds that find use as imaging agents within nuclear medicine applications (PET imaging) for imaging of cardiac innervation are disclosed. These PET based radiotracers may exhibit increased stability, decreased NE release (thereby reducing side effects), improved quantitative data, and/or high affinity for VMAT over prior radiotracers. Methods of using the compounds to image cardiac innervation are also provided. In some instances the compounds are developed by derivatizing certain compounds with 18 F in a variety of positions: aryl, alkyl, a keto, benzylic, beta-alkylethers, gamma-propylalkylethers and beta-proplylalkylethers. Alternatively or additionally, a methyl group a is added to the amine, and/or the catechol functionality is either eliminated or masked as a way of making these compounds more stable.

摘要： A method and apparatus for controlling a motor of an electric vehicle. A current acceleration a of the motor is calculated in real time according to detected rotor position values. If the current acceleration a is greater than a predetermined forward acceleration a 0, then the motor output torque is decreased. If the acceleration a is less than a predetermined backward acceleration a 1, then the motor output torque is increased. Thus, when the vehicle travels from a normal road surface to a slippy road surface or on the contrary, decreasing or increasing the motor output torque may suppress an abrupt variation of vehicle speed. According to a preferred embodiment, reducing output torque during early period may suppress current abrupt variation, protect the power device, and avoid the vehicle being out-of-control caused by a rotor blocking or a motor skidding.
