    • The present invention relates to a method for studying constituents of individual molecular complexes by labelling the molecules belonging to the same complex with at least one set of molecular constructs, wherein each member of the set comprises a Unique Identifying Sequence (UIS), which is a nucleic acid sequence unique for each member of the set, and at least one Common Tag Sequence (CTS), which is a nucleic acid sequence common to all members of the set, by: -attaching the molecular construct to the complex by ligating or hybridizing the molecular construct to a nucleic acid molecule of the complex, or ligating or hybridizing the tag to a nucleic acid linked to an affinity binder that binds specifically to a constituent of the complex, -labelling the molecules belonging to the same complex by using the molecular construct tags as primers or templates in a nucleic acid polymerisation reaction, and -analysing the composition of the molecular complex by analysing the combinations of UISs and CTSs.

    • Disclosed are a processing method, a User Facing Provider Edge (UPE) and a Network Facing Provider Edge (NPE) for multicast data stream, and the method includes: receiving a query message based on a group management protocol sent from the NPE, wherein the query message contains channel information (101); establishing channel list items corresponding to the channel information (102); receiving a report message which is based on the group management protocol, used to join into a multicast group and sent from a Custom Edge (CE), wherein the report message contains the channel information (103); associating the channel list items with the CE and forming multicast forwarding list items (104); according to the multicast forwarding list items, sending the multicast data stream received from the NPE to the CE (105). The present invention can save the time for the UPE to establish the channel list items, thus shorten the time delay for the CE to obtain the multicast data stream.

    • A method for stratifying cancer in a subject comprising determining gene-set expression in a sample from a subject. The set is preselected from genes which are: (a) selectively or differentially expressed in CD49f + EpCAM + luminal epithelial progenitor cells compared to basal epithelial (MaSC enriched) or mature luminal epithelial cells; and/or (b) selectively or differentially expressed in CD49f hi EpCAM - basal epithelial progenitor cells compared to luminal progenitor and mature luminal epithelial cells; and/or (c) selectively or differentially expressed in CD49f - EpCAM + mature luminal epithelial cells compared to basal epithelial and luminal progenitor epithelial cells; and/or (d) selectively or differentially expressed in CD49f - EpCAM - stromal fibroblasts cells compared to basal epithelial and luminal epithelial cells. A method for diagnosis, prognosis or treatment of basal-like breast cancer and/or a BRCA1-deficiency associated form of cancer comprising (i) determining expression of a set of genes in a sample where the gene set is preselected to comprise genes which are selectively or differentially expressed in CD49f + EpCAM + epithelial luminal progenitor cells compared to their expression by control cells such as at least basal epithelial cells or mature luminal epithelial cells. Gene sets are provided in Tables 10 to 17. Preferred gene sets include KIT. Methods of treatment or prevention include administering agents that modulate the activity of gene set expression products, such as KIT polypeptide. Diagnostic probes and kits are included. Methods of reducing proliferation of normal or pre-neoplastic or neoplastic luminal progenitor cells in human mammary epithelium are provided including administering an agent that down modulates KIT activity.
