摘要： Provided is a laser distance measurement apparatus (10) which generally comprises a housing (16) which defines a seat 18 for operatively receiving a tape measure (8). Apparatus (10) further includes a first laser emitter (20) which is operatively fast with the housing (16) and is configured to selectively emit a first laser beam (22) substantially perpendicular to a length of tape (12) of said tape measure (8), and a second laser emitter (24) which is operatively fast with tang or hook (14) of the tape (12) and is also configured to selectively emit a second laser beam (26) substantially perpendicular to the length of tape (12). In this manner, the first and second laser beams (22) and (26) are visually projectable onto respective remote points and a distance between said points is obtainable via the tape measure (8).

摘要： Colposcopic viewing tubes for use with external colposcopes, otoscopes, velscopes. The colposcopic viewing tube is configured to be placed in front of the viewing lens of the colposcope, is typically opaque for a desired portion, and can create a light-tight connection between the patent and the external colposcope and enhance the accuracy or ease of examination of the cervix and other structures in the vagina. The tubes can, if desired, be flexed, extended, retracted, articulated, etc., while in use and can also be removed from the colposcope and be either sterilizable or disposable. The colposcopic viewing tube can be used with a disposable or sterilizable sleeve. The colposcopic viewing tube can comprise a one or more channels for illumination light, detection, spectroscopy, and imaging. In addition, colposcopic viewing tube can comprise extendable members that can be extended through one or more ports in the colposcopic viewing tube, which extension numbers can be sized and configured to fit within the os or other desired target.

摘要： An imaging system (7) for a vehicle (8) includes a camera module (10) positionable at the vehicle and a control (9b). The camera module includes a plastic housing (16) that houses an image sensor (18), which is operable to capture images of a scene occurring exteriorly of the vehicle. The control is operable to process images captured by the image sensor. The portions of the housing may be laser welded or sonic welded together to substantially seal the image sensor and associated components within the plastic housing. The housing may include a ventilation portion (15) that is at least partially permeable to water vapor to allow water vapor to pass therethrough while substantially precluding passage of water droplets and/or other contaminants. The housing (110) may be movable at the vehicle between a stored position and an operational position, where the image sensor may be directed toward the exterior scene.

摘要： Septic barriers interposed between a target tissue such as an oral or vaginal cavity, exposed epidermis, or wound or surgical site, and a user and his/her optical interrogation instruments to reduce cross-infection and/or contamination. The sepsis barrier can comprises a window through which the user sees the tissue, a frame holding the window, and an attachment structure, such as threads or bayonet attachment, configured to connect the barrier to the instrument. If desired, the system can also have an optional attachment mechanism for permanent or temporary connection of a further instrument to the frame, such as a tissue retractor configured to aid manipulation of the target tissue.
