    • The invention relates to a transmitting device and a receiving device. The transmitting device (100) comprises a signal processor (102) configured to modulate bits representing control information for providing at least a first set of modulation symbols (M1) and a second set of modulation symbols (M2), provide a first set of mapped modulation symbols (Μ1') by mapping the first set of modulation symbols (M1) onto a set of frequency resources (R) within a first sub- band, and provide a second set of mapped modulation symbols (Μ2') by mapping the second set of modulation symbols (M2) onto a corresponding set of frequency resources (FT) within a second sub-band, wherein the first set of mapped modulation symbols (Μ1') and the second set of mapped modulation symbols (Μ2') differ from each other in at least one modulation symbol, and wherein the first sub-band and the second sub-band are non-overlapping. The receiving device (300) comprises a receiver (302) configured to receive a control signal (Sc) associated with a transmitting device (100), the control signal (S c ) comprising at least a first set of modulation symbols (M1) mapped onto a set of frequency resources (R) within a first sub-band, and a second set of modulation symbols (M2) mapped onto a corresponding set of frequency resources (R') within a second sub-band, wherein the first set of mapped modulation symbols (M1') and the second set of mapped modulation symbols (Μ2') differ from each other in at least one modulation symbol and are associated with control information; a signal processor (304) configured to derive the control information based on the control signal (S c ). Furthermore, the invention also relates to corresponding methods, a wireless communication system, a computer program, and a computer program product.

    • A system for generating new identity data for network-enabled devices includes a whitelist reader configured to extract attributes from a whitelist. The whitelist includes, for each device specified in the whitelist, a previously assigned identifier of the first type. The previously assigned identifiers of the first type are linked to identity data previously provisioned in each of the respective devices. A data retrieval module is configured to receive the identifiers of the first type from the whitelist reader and, based on each of the identifiers, retrieve each of the previously provisioned identity data records linked thereto. A new data generation module is configured to (i) obtain a cryptographic key associated with the identity data previously provisioned in the devices specified on the whitelist and the corresponding identifiers of the first type, (ii) generate new identity data records each linked to a new identifier and (iii) encrypt each of the new identity data records with one of the cryptographic keys and link each new identity data record to the identifier of the first type corresponding to each respective cryptographic key. A data output module is configured to load onto an external source the encrypted new identity data records along with their respective new identifiers and their respective previously assigned identifiers of the first type.
