    • The invention relates to a motor vehicle and a method for fastening a windowpane (3) made of a transparent material in a window aperture of the motor vehicle. The windowpane has an inside (4), an outside (5) and an edge region (6) with an edge side (7) which extends round the windowpane. The window aperture is defined by a window frame (13) which has a first surface (14) which in a desired defined position faces towards the inside of the windowpane, and an edge region (16) with an edge surface (17) which in the defined position faces towards the edge side. The windowpane is fitted to the window frame by means of an adhesive seam (20) which adheres to the first surface and the inside. The windowpane is also fitted to the window frame via a plurality of the positioning elements (30) which are fastened in the adhesive seam. The positioning elements hold the windowpane and the window frame in the defined position by snap action.
