    • Operation of a combined gas turbine/steam turbine process. The boosted primary high-pressure gas turbine process is operated by means of compressed air and a combustible fluid and the steam turbine process is operated with a fluidized bed combustor fed with a carbonaceous solid fuel. The combustion in the fluidized bed combustor is carried out with the oxygen-laden waste gases from the primary high-pressure gas turbine process and electrical energy can be produced by both turbine processes. To increase the efficiency, the pressure of the exhaust gases from the primary high-pressure gas turbine process (13) is reduced only until the fluidized bed combustor can be operated as a pressurized fluidized bed (6) and the pressure of the exhaust gases of the pressurized fluidized bed combustor is reduced after dust removal (14) in a second gas turbine process (2). These exhaust gases undergo heat exchange (10) with the compressed air of the primary high-pressure gas turbine process (13). The air for the primary high-pressure gas turbine process undergoes a two-stage compression (19) with recooling (8). The compression energy for the first stage (1) is derived from the second gas turbine process (2) and the energy for the second stage (9) from the primary high-pressure gas turbine process (13).
