摘要： An invert mechanism for a glassware forming machine includes a support frame (32) having a base (34) adapted removably to be mounted on a forming machine frame. A linear actuator (40) is suspended from the support frame and a linear gear rack (46) extends from the actuator within the support frame. A hollow shaft (80) has a central portion (82) carried for rotation on the support frame and oppositely extending end portions (90) with axial external splines (94) and open ends. A gear (86) is coupled to the central portion of the shaft for co- rotation with the shaft and has external teeth coupled to the gear rack. A pair of ball nuts (96) are disposed on the end portions of the hollow shaft, and a pair of hollow pneumatic pistons (98) are respectively disposed on the ball nuts over the open ends of the shaft. Invert arm mounts (110) are respectively disposed on the pistons, and a spring (104) is disposed within each piston operatively extending between the piston and the shaft to bias the pistons to a position adjacent to the support frame. An air inlet (112) is disposed on the support frame adjacent to the gear. The gear has an air passage (114) that couples the air inlet to the hollow shaft, and through the shaft to the respective pistons, at at least one angular position of the gear and shaft. The invert mechanism is adapted to be mounted as an assembly to the forming machine frame by means of the support frame.

摘要： A transducer subassembly with combined imaging and therapeutic capabilities is disclosed. The subassembly includes heat sinks that are configured to maintain the transducer at a low operating temperature so that the transducer operates at high efficiency and also can handle a wider range of frequencies. The subassembly is also configured to allow cooling fluid to flow past the transducer element. One heat sink in the subassembly also acts as an acoustic matching layer and another heat sink acts as a backing. Alternatively, the second heat sink which acts as a backing is optional. The transducer is configured to transmit at one power level for imaging, and at a second power level for ablating. The transducer may comprise sub-elements transmitting at different power levels. The subassembly may be operated at one power level for imaging and a second power level for ablating.

摘要： A baffle system for blank molds of a glassware forming machine includes a first shaft (30) mounted for movement in the direction of its axis and for rotation around its axis. A baffle arm (38) is mounted to the first shaft and a manifold (60) is suspended from the baffle arm. A plurality of baffle holders (78, 80, 82) are suspended from the manifold, and rocker arms (106, 108, 124) interconnect the baffle holders for equalizing forces applied by the baffle holders to the blank molds of a glassware forming machine. A second shaft (32) is adjacent to the first shaft and a link arm (44) extends between the second shaft and the manifold. Disposition of the rocker arms between the manifold and the baffle holders permits the manifold to be folded under the baffle arm in the second position of the baffle arm, the manifold and the baffle holders. The link arm preferably is coupled to the second shaft for longitudinal and pivotal movement on the second shaft, and a wear block (50) preferably is carried by the baffle arm and engages the link arm adjacent to the second shaft for supporting the link arm during movement of the link arm on the second shaft.
