    • The cable type rechargeable battery of the present invention comprises: a negative-electrode current collector which has a horizontal cross section of a predetermined shape and extends in the length direction; a negative-electrode active material pattern layer constituting negative-electrode active material patterns which are spaced apart by a predetermined interval from each other on an outer surface of the negative-electrode current collector; an electrolyte layer which constitutes a pathway for ions, the electrolyte layer being charged to surround the negative-electrode active material pattern layer; a positive-electrode active material pattern layer constituting positive-electrode active material patterns which are spaced apart by a predetermined interval from each other, at positions corresponding to those of the negative-electrode active material patterns, on an outer surface of the electrolyte layer; and a positive-negative current collector which surrounds an outer surface of the positive-electrode active material pattern layer. The cable type battery of the present invention is characterized by forming active material patterns having superior flexibility and can prevent the active material from becoming separated.
