    • A transmitter CV-QKD device 'A' stores and transmits a quantum signal over a communication channel. The quantum signal has a first phase, a first central frequency, a first pulse shape, and a first bandwidth. A receiver CV-QKD device 'B' receives the quantum signal via the communication channel and via a reception band of the receiver CV-QKD device 'B'. The reception band has a second central frequency and a second bandwidth. The second central frequency is offset from the first central frequency by a frequency shift caused by the communication channel. The received quantum signal has a second phase and a second pulse shape. The second phase is offset from the first phase by a phase shift caused by the communication channel and the second central frequency is offset from the first central frequency by a frequency shift caused by the communication channel. The second pulse shape is offset from the first pulse shape by a delay caused by the communication channel. The receiver CV-QKD device 'B' determines a quantum communication channel based on the phase shift, the frequency shift, the delay, and a third bandwidth resulting from an overlap between the first bandwidth around the first central frequency and the second bandwidth around the second central frequency. The receiver CV-QKD device 'B' communicates the determined quantum communication channel to the transmitter CV-QKD device 'A' over an authenticated communication channel. The transmitter CV-QKD device 'A' obtains a modified quantum signal by modifying the stored quantum signal based on the determined quantum communication channel; and generating, by the transmitter CV-QKD device 'A' and the receiver CV-QKD device 'B', a secret key using the modified quantum signal and the received quantum signal.

    • The present invention relates to a coordinated beamforming method, and in particular, to a limited information exchanging method for mitigating inter-cell interference. To this end, the invention proposes a first serving network node serving a first receiving network node in a first cell of a mobile network, i.e. a multi-cell system. The first serving network node is configured to obtain, from the first receiving network node, a first statistical channel information of a channel from a second serving network node in the mobile network; exchange with the first receiving network node indicator information identifying the first statistical channel information; and provide the first statistical channel information to the second serving network node. Accordingly, the first receiving network node is configured to provide, to the first serving network node, a first statistical channel information of a channel from the second serving network node in the mobile network; and exchange with the first serving network node indicator information identifying the first statistical channel information. Thereby, limited/minimal channel information is exchanged among entities in the multi-cell system, which allows the BS to perform interference-aware precoding/beamforming. Based on the obtained information, precoding/beamforming is performed at each BS in a way that inter-cell interference is mitigated by steering the precoding/beamforming vectors in the adjacent/interfering cell accordingly.
