    • A magnetic coupling device for communicating continuous rotational or linear motion through a magnetic coupling of magnetic forces communicated from magnets operatively positioned on an oscillation assembly and a rotation assembly in positions sufficiently proximate to form the magnetic coupling. Employed to communicate an output force in a rotational direction from an input linear force communicated from a powered oscillation assembly, the magnetic force of the magnet communicating the force compresses the volume of ellipsoidal-like magnetic fields of the coupling alternately in unlike polar domains, to induce a smooth, blended polar continuity and communicate a continuous 360 degree rotational force to a rotation assembly operatively engaged with the magnetic coupling. The input force may be reversed to induce a continuous linear motion of a reciprocating assembly.

    • This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for calibrating actual output power of a transmit power sensor for closed loop power control using a quality metric such as error vector magnitude (EVM) to improve power detection accuracy. In one aspect a method for correlating an output of a transmit power sensor with actual output power of a wireless transmitter is provided. The method includes deriving a characteristic correlation between an actual output power of a set of transmit amplifiers and an output power and of a set of corresponding power detection circuits over a range of transmit power levels in a corresponding set of wireless communication devices. The method further includes storing the characteristic correlation in a wireless device that is not part of the set from which the characteristic correlation was derived. The method further includes sensing an output of a transmit power sensor of the wireless device while the wireless transmitter of the wireless device transmits according to one or more first gain settings. The method further includes producing an estimate of actual output power based at least in part on the characteristic correlation. The method further includes adjusting gain setting data based at least in part on the estimate of actual output power.

    • Methods and systems for modelling and modifying garments, providing a basis for integrated "virtual tailoring" systems and processes. The garment models provided relate specific design points of the garment to specific body regions in terms of explicit 3D relationship rules, enabling garments to be modified holistically, by a constrained 3D warp process, to fit different body shapes/sizes, either in order to generate a range of graded sizes or made-to-measure garments, for the purposes of visualisation and/or garment production. The methods described further facilitate the generation of 2D pattern pieces by flattening 3D representations of modified garments using a constrained internal energy minimization process, in a manner that ensures that the resulting pattern pieces can be assembled in substantially the same way as those of the base garment. The mehtods enable the visualisation and/or production of bespoke or graded garments, and garment design modifications, within an integrated virtal tailoring environment.
