摘要： This invention relates in one aspect to a composition for inhibiting corrosion, such as flash rust, on metal surfaces. The composition described can include an organic acid component or a salt thereof, an azole component, an imidazoline component, a basic amine component, a phosphonate component, and a carrier including water and an alcohol such as glycol. The composition can also include surfactants, defoamers, buffers and other components as well. In another aspect, the invention relates to a method for treating metal surfaces to inhibit corrosion, comprising the steps of mixing, diluting and contacting or otherwise applying the above composition to the metal surface by spraying, dipping, coating or other effective means.

Fluid moves along an axial flow direction from upstream to downstream in a housing. Initially, a sheet of filter media is corrugated in a serpentine sinusoidal pattern along a set of pleat bend lines. The bend lines extend axially to form axially extending fluted flow channels. The sheet then ha a plurality of creases or folds formed laterally across the pleat bend lines, and the sheet is then folded back and forth upon itself along plurality of runs.

摘要： This invention relates to a fuel filter for use with internal combustion engines. The fuel filter includes a fuel additive that can be released into fuel. The rate of release for the fuel can be controlled. In one form the fuel additive can be mixed with a matrix material and released at a substantially constant rate to maintain a uniform level of fuel additive in the fuel. Use of the present invention provides a fuel filter having an extended life span that is longer than fuel filters typically used with combustion engines.

This sealing lip includes a ribbed, radial-sealing surface and a convex, axial-sealing surface (164). The radial-sealing surface provides sealing contact with an outlet portion of the housing by means of tension while axial sealing is achieved by compression of the axial-sealing surface against a generally planar surface of the housing. In addition to these two modes of sealing engagement, differential pressure forces cause the sealing lip to press tightly against the housing to enhance the sealing.
